Private Funding
We are extremely conscious of the financial burden that legal fees can impose on businesses and individuals. At Oakland & Co we aim to provide practical and pragmatic advice and solutions with a view to keeping your costs to a minimum. Our charges are calculated on a time-cost basis. For individuals and for businesses, hourly rates will be agreed at the outset of each instruction. Hourly rates may vary according to the type of work to be undertaken. Some of our business clients prefer to instruct us on a retainer basis whereby we agree a set monthly fee based on the anticipated needs of the business. No Win No Fee For individuals we will also, in appropriate cases, undertake claims to the Employment Tribunals on a contingency fee basis (No Win No Fee). Where we agree to represent you on a no win no fee basis, your case will be taken on with no financial risk to you. If you win then an agreed proportion of the compensation that you recover will be paid to us. If you lose then you pay us nothing. We are also able to represent you if are covered under a policy of legal expenses insurance in respect of your claim to an Employment Tribunal.
